The community of Saint Joseph Priory – Faith Hub Cebu creates a nurturing space that aims to engage people and other communities to encounter the Lord and become equipped and empowered Christians.

Our Missions

Alpha Sessions

We partner with Alpha Philippines to promote the Alpha Course as an accessible tool for the New Evangelization. The Alpha “culture” of openness and mission is something we take to heart and implement in all of our programs. We run three 9-week-long sessions per year which helps young people to rediscover their Faith and becomes leaders. For inquiries about Alpha feel free to contact our Mission Assistant.

Leadership Training and Empowerment

After attending the Alpha Course, the youth have the opportunity to attend sessions geared towards equipping them to become leaders. We are currently working on our modules for leadership training which empower youth who were either far from the Church or those already active in their Faith community. We also select a small number of youth to become part of the “leadership team” of the Faith Hub and receive even more intensive training and accompaniment. Catechism Nights

Every Wednesday evening, we provide an opportunity to go deeper in the understanding of the Catholic Faith through Catechism Nights. These sessions are open to anyone and help people to not only receive good formation from the brothers and hand-picked leaders, but also share their experiences and Faith with one another during the dinner and group sharing.

Children’s Adoration

Every month we welcome around 50 children from our neighborhood surroundings for a time of games and prayer.

Saint John Scholarship Program

We are currently helping 31 students (elementary to college) to go to school and receive a solid Catholic and human formation. Scholars attend mandatory weekly formations at the Faith Hub and help out the mission of the priory through various services. For inquiries about the scholarship program please contact Fr. Steban.
