Our Missions

Spiritual Formation

The peaceful atmosphere of our house lends itself to seeking union with God. It’s for this reason that we welcome people for personal retreats and even give sessions on prayer and other topics of spiritual formation. Please feel free to visit our FB page for more information on these sessions.

Tutorial

A great way to stay in touch with our neighbors and get to know them is through offering daily after-school tutoring for children. We help, empower, and coordinate a team of volunteers who work in two different communities close to our house. It has been a joy working with the children and helping them improve in their studies and receive catechism classes. The parents of the children also cooperate not only in making sure their children can come to the sessions but in making a community that fosters good friendship and fun time together.

Altar Servers

Our Sunday Masses are a great opportunity for the young neighborhood boys to come to serve and be trained as sacristans. It’s no secret that it’s much more fun to go to Mass when friends are waiting for them and they have something to do! We make sure the boys also receive catechism and have fun activities like outings which permit the friendships among them to grow. This apostolate is done in cooperation with lay volunteers who we are so grateful for.
