Faith Hub Cebu

The Faith Hub Cebu seeks to welcome individuals from all walks of life in order to become disciples of Christ. Focusing especially on youth ministry, we seek to promote new ways of reaching the young generation, helping them discover the beauty of their Faith and the Church, and empower them to become leaders for the Church and society.

Alpha Youth Series

Twice a year we run the Alpha Youth Series as a way to re-evangelize youth who are far from the Church and make them encounter Christ and his Church in a new way. Alpha acts as the foundation of the culture we seek to promote at the Faith Hub which has at it’s heart the New Evangelization. Coming back to the basics of what it means to be a Christian in a non-judgmental and hospitable environment has proven to be a very effective way to revitalize the Faith of our youth.

Ministries and Equip Sessions

After they graduate Alpha, the youth are invited volunteer for the succeeding batches of the Alpha Youth Series and join different ministries where they are given the opportunity to discover their capacities and gifts.

For a deeper and more explicitly Catholic catechetical formation, we have our Equip Sessions every second and fourth Wednesday of the month. We cover a variety of topics like the Bible, the Sacraments, and more all the while keeping the same culture of openness and community felt in the Alpha sessions.

Leadership Training

After attending the Alpha Youth Series and having proven their commitment and potential for leadership, certain youth are invited to join the official Faith Hub Leadership Training. This is a two-month-long program we run every summer which focuses on knowledge of self, discipleship, the charisms, and leadership skills. It is meant to train leaders who will have explicit leadership positions either at the Faith Hub or in their parish community. The training also takes into account leadership skills needed for their future as young professionals in the work force.

Saint John Scholarship Program

We are currently helping 31 students (elementary to college) to go to school and receive a solid Catholic and human formation. Scholars attend mandatory weekly formations at the priory and help out the mission of the priory through various services. For inquiries about the scholarship program please contact Fr. Steban.
